Some days are better than other days— that’s a part of living that I’ve learned. Every morning is different. This morning I woke up with swollen eyes, my ears pulsing, the grey haunting my window then sliding under the covers next to me, telling me not to get out of bed. During my dreadful, heavy, just-cold-enough-for-my-bare-legs-to-feel-chilly walk I noticed one thing— the green standing next to the overcast, shining. Bloomed patches of emerald grass and sunlight-yellow dandelions screamed at me. Wake up! Look around. The next day I woke up with a sense of belonging that was so unfamiliar I nearly felt lost again.
A.G. Sully is an embodiment of the highs and lows, the mundane, the days you get lucky and the ones that feel so unfair you’d rather just quit.
